Beyoncé from that school of power vocals. She’s the only one left tbh. Let her have it, that’s why she’s considered Queen

TBH I agree with this. I think it was part of that era she came from cuz someone else pointed out that Christina Aguilera did it too. Makes sense

Beyoncé’s music is really annoying to me because she relies on the strength of her voice way too much. It always feels like she’s trying to flex her throat when it just would be better if she took it easy. Kinda reminds me of a singer on The Voice or some s***. Artists like Doja Cat and Drake (just two random artists that came to mind) are much more enjoyable listens to me because, despite them having far more constrained vocal ranges (drake is just not a good singer let’s be honest), they know how to make be creative with their vocals to make catchy and easy-listening songs . Idk y’all can light me up in the thread, no disrespect to Beyoncé or Beehive sorry guys

Edit: Many are criticizing me for this opinion. I stand by it

bro its hard for beyonce to be lowkey she is not capable of being lowkey at all with her voice i understand what ur saying but i dont entirely dislike that about her.

Aight as long as somebody can validate that what I’ve observed is a real thing Im good. Not trying to hate on her or convince others to hate on her either. I honestly do not mind Beyoncé. I don’t hate her music or enjoy it. It just is what it is to me.

People clowning op when that’s actually a real thing lol.

In regards to Beyoncé I guess I can see what you mean but personally I don’t hear it.

Kinda know what u mean tho. Her vocals can be overpowering sometimes. But that's just her style

This is an existing problem with vocal virtuosos but one that is uniquely not a problem with Beyonce. She shouldn’t be lumped in just cause she has an amazing voice and shows it off
