Man its really wild seeing how the tech channels have blown up since YT first took off. Especially the ones that focus on phones like 90% of the time, cause you'd think everyone has an iPhone/Android with similar form factors, so that content wouldn't be super popular — but it definitely is haha.
I remember back in high school when i was trying to decide which phone i wanted, i watched s***ty 480p vids of some dude recording his hands and the phones on his table for 15 mins. My mom was laughing at it when i showed her — as if its off the wall to wanna know more about something we're bout to drop $400 on lol. Now look at these phone review YT guys, they're making bank. I respect it

Yeah its wild how many hugely successful gamers there are nowadays. Both pro/competitive people and casual streamers with solid followings. Back in the early days of Halo 2 and Rainbow Six MLG/Gamebattles, its seemed like there was only like 12 dudes who were actually making a living off it, out of millions playing. And streaming wasnt even a thing yet either.
Now i'll be scrolling through the tv guide list and see literal shows on disney channels where its just 20 year olds streaming gameplay lol.
