He needed to deliver after Meek exposed him, but Views got lukewarm reception. Notice how he didn’t rap as much on Views. He said this was because he realized he couldn’t rap without sounding bitter and angry during this time period.
He needed to deliver after Pusha T exposed him, yet Scorpion got worse reviews than Views lmao. The beef changed the album entirely.

Was gonna say, people were claiming a fall off for Drake when none of the songs off More Life hit on the levels of Hotline Bling/One Dance from the year before, and then he went on to put out three #1 singles in a row.
This won't affect his commercial standing in the slightest. He'll probably start losing relevance naturally as the 2020s progress (happens to every major artist after their first 10-15 years in the spotlight) but he still has a LOT of hits left in him.
