I don’t even know what you’re trying to say in this post

Please stop quoting me with trash

You know exactly what I’m saying you just don’t have anything to say and that’s fine you’re not supposed to keep talking to me.

lmao man - I've never seen a crowd boo a guest artist in general and now you got the biggest artist of our time on stage who is also one of the best performers and the crowd is booing him?

This theme goes along with all the people on instagram who talk s*** in the comments and hate because they feel like there's no repercussions to being disrespectful or rude. So many kids between the ages of 13-18 think it's funny or cool. That man was performing s*** he's never done before that was about to be a damn moment in time, but because y'all thought you knew the surprise you were getting, anything less makes it right to boo and ruin that s***? You know how many times people guess surprise artists wrong? Does is it make it okay to start booing because the surprise isn't what you wanted?

That's some bull s*** - would you have boo'd him if there was 100 of you and he could hear who it was booing him?

Bro if you weren’t there then shut the f*** up. I’m tired of explaining this. He was NOT BOOED because we wanted frank, he was BOOED for misleading the crowd and intentionally making it seem like he’s taking over someone else’s time and isn’t the headliner. He came on and did two songs initially like uzi and asap which we cheered and sang along for. Then he asked to do 2 more and we cheered again, he ended up doing like 8 songs which we sang to each and every one. Then he asks AGAIN if he can do four more songs, once again alluding to the possibility that there’s someone else coming on after him, so we said no because he already did like 10 songs and we want to see the rest of the show. Then he does his lil speech and got booed. It doesn’t matter that his set list and visuals were mid, people would’ve just left had he not acted like he was only supposed to do two songs and acted like the damn headliner that he was. People would’ve left and that’s in their right to do so.

Tame impala or Kendrick, gambino or even trav could’ve came and not gotten booed. Granted, they’d probably have some live instrumentation, set design or at least actual visuals so it would appear they give a half a f*** about headlining a friend’s festival, but the point is they would act like headliners and not intentionally mislead. Booing is super uncommon in today’s age so the context is important to understand why it happened.

lmao is this your first concert? That's how he interacts with the crowd, he's not actually asking you - artists dont just show up and then depend on the crowd cheering to determine if they are going to continue. It's not like he's going to stay on stage and then because he stays on stage you don't get to see another planned guest like wtf lmao

And to be honest, I didnt mean to be patronizing because I realize some people just don't know this stuff - but just so you know, anytime artists do guest appearances and ask to do more, the more is already planned, it's not a spur of the moment thing

And that’s fine, it’s his show, which he’s clearly headlining specifically targeted to his demographic. They’d eat that s*** up. Definitely something I’d expect if I caught him in my city. Not headlining a festival. Again, them niggas on rhythm and flow had better performances.

He will put it in a song I hope...it’s humbling...

Not really patronizing so you cool. In my opinion and the opinion of everyone there, the “planned” interaction was trash. There was a precedent with the headliner with Tyler asking if we want to see another friend, and be bringing them out and doing two songs. This happened twice, Drake was the third and even said he was only going to do two, so we thought after that he’d get on and another guest would come on. Then instead of doing the tried and true method of performing his set, interacting with the crowd “CAMP FLOG NAW” or just talking to the crowd, leaving the stage and getting cheered back on if we want him back, he made it come across as him taking up another guest’s time. He didn’t even feel introduced as the headliner, just as “another friend” in the same way uzi and rocky were.

But I guess the feedback actually does determine if the artist continues because drake ultimately didn’t lol
