Tbh 1 year is fine just for the love of god don't put their name on the lease or co-borrow/cosign anything with them until you guys get married

My girl and I moved in together after only like 3 months just cuz we happened to move to the same city for work and wanted to save money. 4 years later now we’re getting married, and helped keep costs down between us.
won’t lie though that first 1-2 years had some rough moments but you either work through it or you don’t

If you feel unsure I would say hold off on it, but also if you’re with each other daily already then it might not be a bad idea. Definitely would recommend to anyone to live with a person before taking a relationship to the next level.
