    Would be nice to go to the person's house if you're doing Craigslist type preowned. If the person's house is nasty they might have cockroaches in the console

    Do any of you buy preowned consoles from places like ebay or gamestop?

    Or is it better to just buy it brand new

    Do you have any chains of shops that specialise second hand stuff? Computer Exchange (CEX) in Europe does this and while it’s probably more expensive than using eBay / Craigslist etc everything comes with 24 month warranty so u can’t really go wrong

    Bought my xbox one s refurb from gamestop in December, came with a free one year warranty. Have also bought from the Nintendo eBay store, they sell refurb items directly

    Don’t see anything wrong with it but if the console says it’s ‘refurbished’ I’d be careful.

    i did it back in the day. never had an issue, but its case by case
