I guess I just love the emotion on MATW
I get choked up when I hear this song man
biggie was the perfect blend of wordplay, storytelling, intricate rhyme schemes, smooth ass flow, i could go on here all day
dude was really special
I guess I just love the emotion on MATW

yeah ill def say Pac has him super beat when it comes to songs with emotional depth
he was way better than Biggie at that pertaining to conveying emotion through music
idk man I just get more out of these emotionally than any Biggie song. Big was incredible obviously but the emotional depth and dimensionality of Pac's music has damn near made me cry. There's just so much uncontrollable soul in his music

I just think Pac's ability to make gangsta rap, party rap, love songs, and conscious rap was flawless in every category. He has iconic songs in every one of these categories. He's got the soul of a blues and r&b singer trapped within one of the hardest emcees ever
You know what Juice wrld and Xs death taught me?
That 2pac and Biggie were overrated
When I was a kid those 2 were talked about as the best ever and I thought oh well damn it’s really tragic they both died young then
But no. They’re viewed the way they are because they died
Explaining why zoomers now hold juice and x up so high
You can’t ever fall off and they can’t ever grow tired of you if you die first.
Rip to them all though not meant to be insensitive just an observation
Y’all do this stupid take annually like Pac wasn’t the most dominant rapper we had ever seen culturally up until that point. Which he was. Like Big wasn’t seen as the coldest lyricist of his time. Which he was

It’s appropriate for anyone that came up and saw an artists come up, grew up the same time they did and got to witness their downfall, they would be their goats
I'm not even mad at people having Juice, Pop Smoke, XXX, etc in their top 5s but let's just call it what is it; zoomers preferring recent stuff over classic stuff
that’s literally every era though
everyone is gonna prefer what they grew up with

I agree that death "helps" putting an artist up in rankings by the people, but Juice and X never made anything close to RTD, LAD, AEOM, 7DT, so I don't think Pac and Big are exactly the same as those 2, they definitely were special
