I’m not even a Travis stan and I do think people oversell Travis involvement in Yeezus but you can’t bite something you were literally there to help create and set the vibes for.

This is him exploring the sounds he helped to discover in 2013/2012 on Owl Pharaoh and Yeezus.

For the most part yes. There's Ye influence (as always is with Trav since the beginning) but people are really pushing it with saying it's unoriginal

The Pharrell track is hard

The part of Travis that is really cool is he’s tapped into like college club kinda sounds and is also tapped into super left field weirdos. He is a unique juxtaposition of the two and people do not appreciate that enough.

Does he ever have anything to say? No not really at all. But can he find a vibe? Hell yeah he can.

The synth that comes in sometimes on Modern Jam reminds me of Thriller. Idk why

I did get too attached to Future Sounds and don’t really like Telekinesis
