Childhoodi kinda chalk the lack of focus thing to how many versions this album went through
from the 2020 donda days, stuff made during the time he was gonna so his dior capsule, post-astrofest, etc…
i agree with you though cause even if this is still good, even an album like birds felt more thematic in how all the songs came together than this

This thing has songs from 2015 on it, a few songs with beat switches that literally have nothing to do with one another
Like I think I really like this album and it not being super focused isn’t necessarily a slight against it. I love TLOP and I feel the same way ab that album
