Classiquejust my opinion, astro is the bottom of his discog for me and birds is fire top to bottom
If you were getting b****es in 2016 birds just hit different and it's something 99% of travis scott fans can't understand

Iām following Travis since 2013/2014 and he was obviously NOT that big before Astroworld dropped. He was well known within the hip hop community, yes but he definitely broke the walls in terms of being a succesful star with Astroworld
Same with Abel and Starboy

Jul 30, 2023shaleiroseCole definitely a legend, Iām not the biggest fan of all of his music (besides FHD, one of my favorite albums ever), but I respect him a ton and Iāve been to Dreamville Fest the past two years.
Iām just saying what was the last J. Cole album that was either as loved or made an impact on the level of albums like Astroworld, Flower Boy, IGOR, Call Me If You Get Lost, or Utopia?
Off-Season was definitely well received, but it didnāt really feel like that album made a splash like all the albums I named did
For the album to do what it did numbers wise with only a week of promo has to count for something. 4 top 10 songs with one debuting at #2.
Nigga had a deep rap song as the promo single a week before and it debuted #8, which was higher than even The Heart Pt. 5 which had a 5 year wait and immense hype behind it.
When you really start looking at Cole, the numbers never lie and he stacks up next to the biggest effortlessly
