Okay I donāt get that but thats fine
Dont get me wrong I like Birds but the best songs arent nearly as good as the best songs on his other albums imo and it has like 5 songs that are straight up skips to me while his other albums have 0-2
I like Birds as well, but you can hear it on the project that itās the only album of his that was fully recorded and engineered all while on tour
Itās the impact the album and tour had man, itās hard to deny and talk bad about that album
Astroworld is f***ing fire idk why it gets downplayed so much now
when i listen to it its a very energized and emotional trav. off top his delivery on the ends, way back, late night, sdp, goosebumps, first take, biebs, sweet, guidance, pretty much the whole album heās in a pocket that i really like. the production is really dark and unique to him. a lot of astro is good but a lot of it is generic. stargazing, houstonfornication, butterfly effect are all great trav songs but a lot of astro feels generic to me like some of it couldāve ended up on a nav or gunna album letās say. thatās just how i feel if i wanna listen to trav i wanna hear a trav song not just like a modern trap song on a trav album
What Nav album could a song like Astrothunder or Skeletons been on bro? idk
MODERN JAM
What Nav album could a song like Astrothunder or Skeletons been on bro? idk
Songs that never get talked about like Wake Up!
So f***ing fire and is NOT generic
I enjoyed all those albums too
I loved when Denzel tried out the more jazzy production was such a refreshing change of pace for him, super excited for Danny next album
Based on the teases + snippets, Dannyās album feels like itāll be his version of Zelās album
Super personal, chilled out but very experimental etc.
Woah woah woah
Abel didnāt break through with BBTM?
Somehow but I think Starboy was the album that put him on the top
Astroworld is f***ing fire idk why it gets downplayed so much now
Revisionist history. I saw a Astroworld concert video yesterday and instantly got hype like I was there again. S*** is perfect
had the world in his hands
Astroworld is f***ing fire idk why it gets downplayed so much now
Because itās his most popular album. People love to dismiss popular things
Youāre only saying that bc Nav is on it bc thats not even a Nav solo album type beat
But even with that what else?
i didnāt mean the whole album could be nav songs i meant i listen to yosemite and it couldāve been on navās album. you listen to company off too late and it sounds like a trav song on a drake album. 5% tint is good but i could see gunna and thug on the beat on one of their albums and think it would fit on their albums, it just didnāt feel how literally every other trav solo project feels

Everything about that era was flawless man
Im amazed that he followed it up so well
This s*** is so god damn good man. Shows thereās still a place for great albums today
Because itās his most popular album. People love to dismiss popular things
Yea people try to act like it's super pop but if you go back and listen to the songs and look at who he was working with it was pretty experimental it just wasn't super dark like his other s***

itās a fire album itās just his worst to me one has to end up on the bottom and it just so happens to be astro never said it was bad or trash

Same but we are brain dead for that take apparently
Woah woah woah
Abel didnāt break through with BBTM?
Starboy is where weeknd became that nigga in terms of popularity bbtm was the beginning because of can't feel my face. But starboy is the album that projected him
i didnāt mean the whole album could be nav songs i meant i listen to yosemite and it couldāve been on navās album. you listen to company off too late and it sounds like a trav song on a drake album. 5% tint is good but i could see gunna and thug on the beat on one of their albums and think it would fit on their albums, it just didnāt feel how literally every other trav solo project feels
I guess I just donāt agree
Like yeah they could have i guess but travis production is pretty unique to him i mean lile
Stargazing
Carousel
Sicko Mode
RIP Screw
Stop Trying To Be God
No Bystanders
Skeletons
Wake Up
NC-17
Astrothunder
Canāt Say
Houstonfornication
Coffee Bean
I wouldnt call any of those generic or say they could be on a gunna or nav album. Most of those arenāt even trap beats
Ngl I thought Travis would lean more into the psychedelic rock sounds he had going in astroworld
Skipping delrestos and kpop
I do love the Kanye interpolation on delrestos tho
Sin. The chants in Delresto are chilling. Makes you wanna keep coming back
