sizzurpsteveI have felt personally that Ye stans a lil salty about the album. Just talking all about āYe influenceā and mentioning the leftover songs from him that Travis used. I just ignore it I mean they arenāt wrong but it just comes off as annoying imo.
yes I feel the same way too because if you hear Owl Pharaoh and hear the way travis was talking about revolutionizing that sound on UTOPIA before the album dropped so it's all a full circle moment imo not like SYRE by Jaden or smth

Love Life UtopiaI just canāt say this is better than Astro yet, even from a production perspective. I get there are a lot of moving parts and beat switches, but that =/= it being a better produced or even overall better album. Idk, Astro just sounds so clean and focused. I love what heās doing on here tho and the new sounds are amazingā¦Astro just gets a different feeling out of me.
Only time will tell, will still be at the stadium going crazy
This is way cleaner and focused imo. Almost as clean as rodeos mix

I just canāt see how itās cleaner and more focused when Astro was sequenced to transition seamlessly and doesnāt feel as long as this album despite only being 15 minutes shorter

A ton of people forget he even has those old projects so that doesnāt help either. It sucks but it is what it is in the end.

The mixing on astroworld can be ear piercing (harmonica/James Blake on stop trying to be god) and thereās lots of s***ty transitions. Utopia sounds a lot more smooth imo the only really loud part is sza on telekinesis and the beat switches are handled much better

Mix sounds good to me
at least for what I know Travis for, and Iām an audio engineer. To each their own I guess lol
