This album is def getting better though on each listen

There was a thread on here before the album dropped asking if Astroworld is a classic and I feel like it actually is, hearing that album in 5 - 10 years is still gonna hit the same

I usually play the whole thing, I have this weird mental illness that I don’t play an album too many times close to release so I don’t get tired of it quickly

Friday / Saturday I could not let go of Hyaena, Modern Jam, Meltdown & Fein to save my life.

Now it's Skitzo, Lost Forever, Meltdown & Circus Maximus,

Hopefully he starts releasing back at his usual pace so we don't have to wait this long again lol

I literally think this album and Utopia are neck to neck

Its crazy how much good music is on these 2 albums combined

Like I said earlier in another thread, Fantano could improve in certain areas, but one thing I'll always respect is his ability to articulate his opinion & think for himself for the most part

I feel like the hate for him is so overblown like obviously anybody who shares their opinion on every single album that comes out is gonna have some wild takes his takes arent really much wilder than most posters on here and he’s definitely way more knowledgeable about music than most people i encounter in this section

He's knowledgeable about music but my thing is sometimes he's missing context for rap s***.

Like in the other thread I talked about how in his Her Loss review he didn't pick up on how Drake's flow on Rich Flex was him interpolating one of T.I.'s biggest hits, which Fantano would've been around for given his age.

I think Fantano's good it's just he tends to make more of those mistakes within his hip hop reviews

Ofc bc ppl on here mostly, if not exclusively, listen to hip hop which is pretty saddening if you ask me

i was playing the album the whole way through first 2 days. now i'm just repeat songs a lot (also every song is an option to repeat, this is nuts).

i've also started going back to specific parts of songs, like in the intro toward the end when the bass kicks in solo, i just can't get enough of that enough of it

as on right now, i do think astroworld is better
