It feels to me like an awkward gangly growing pains type of album that still manages to be good by virtue of the parts involved
Flawed, yet not without its cult charms
A bit like Testing
basically its more do I got a 5 year wait in the next project in me and will I still be in it. Will I still grasp it. Will he still be dropping the same subject matter and sound there. But got to cherish what he just dropped. Hearing the live versions will be dope
yeah but there is no way you can walk away from this thinking to me this is as well orchestrated or the glue as astroworld or donda. I don't like comparison but something about this just doesn't fit well together
This is a better album than Donda I know a few ppl will hate me for saying that though

Donda is not super cohesive or well orchestrated. It's a bloated album with good ideas lol
The night is too young and the love in the air, it hit me
Follow all the vibes, I'm in every city
Gamble with your life, thinkin' 'bout it woday
Tell ya homie chill tonight, you don't want it with him
We raise our glasses, the madness
The tiny waist, the asses, dancin' in trances
Baby say she ready and we 'bout to find out
Don't be mad that your girl done found 'bout
And we get it
Never lied, rager-fied, on a mission
And they lookin' like they know, but they didn't
Let me slip into my mode, I slip round the notes
Smokin' plenty with tequila, baby
Members of The Rage runway with it
Fashion week in Paris, front row with it
Diamonds always dancin', no bullshittin'
See a Black god on the job, yeah, I'm so winnin'
Is the travis the weaker part of most songs or am I just oversaturated with Travis?
Trav's verses are honestly my favorite parts of each track

its just the audio mixing or auto tuning of it on certain songs is too much for me

This is also fair . I just think the audio mixing on this or overuse of auto tune sometimes gets to me

Anybody know when the vinyl actually ships out with the website saying it ships within 1 week of album release?

it is growing on me . It definitely has some highs . Definitely wish he played with song lengths and convention more

It’s crazy cause there’s very few typical song structures on here but it doesn’t feel new for Travis

Something about it feels like it held back on the idea of Utopia title. S*** still goes don't get me wrong and can't wait to see whatever live performance he puts to this

Copped mine on Friday and it “shipped” today
Didn’t actually get sent anywhere yet, but it says the shipping label was created

Pretty much

Appreciate the heads up! I’m used to waiting months for vinyls to ship but it’s nice to see that they have already been made and ready for shipment around the release date
