Tbh all the co-signs he collects generally feel pretty contrived to me like it’s more about consciously accumulating a checklist of prestigious artists he can associate with rather than meaningful collaboration

When he works with frank, James, toro, Kanye even commissions a cover with someone like Ralph steadman imo it feels like those artists are at a compromise & those pieces aren’t up to their standard which doesn’t matter to trab as long as his name is next to there’s at the end of the day

He’s the king of branding & marketing a Stevie co-sign is like a nike co-sign to a different demographic I think he’s just a kid hitting those checkpoint goals in his mind regardless of quality
