Tired of doom scrolling on steam and not being interested in the content. Need a thread for games that go under the radar. Obscure, interesting, anything that’s not talked about enough or doesn’t get enough love.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided
-> a better cyberpunk game than CP77 imo. One of the best soundtracks and sidequests of this gen, Level Design is stellar
Prey
-> Bioshock meets Alien, but even better than Bioshock imo, Level Design and Atmosphere are fye, the ending was also amazing and unexpected
Metro Exodus
-> realistic Fallout setting in russia but with immersive gameplay, great atmosphere and cool sandbox design, Story was great too
Deus Ex

The Evil Within series. First one was like a Resident Evil 4 sequel. It was rough around the edges and had some extremely frustrating moments but made up for that with its atmosphere and creepiness. The second one was less scary and original but was much more polished and had some interesting open world environments. All in all one of my fav horror series of PS4 gen.

I bought the second but I still need to finish the first one before I start it

How far into the first one are you?
For a Rockstar game I feel like Max Payne 3 didn't get enough appreciation
From a gameplay perspective it's easily their best release
Immortals Fenyx Rising
saw many people saying it was their game of the year ABOVE Ghost of Tshushima, TLOU 2 and FF7

Tbh it’s in my top 5 easily of 2020. It’s soooo good. Beautiful art style. The actual combat is such a blast... you can try a lot of different things with it. Borrows elements from BOTW, but it’s genuinely unique for an UBI game lol.
13 sentinels
Danganronpa
I think it’s pretty celebrated, and rightfully so, but not under the radar
