here's some of my fav l o w k e y picks:
Anodyne and Anodyne 2 (especially the 2nd one)
don't hear enough about Outer Wilds. was one of the best games i've ever played
LISA the painful
VA-11 Hall-A
Pathologic 2
Kenshi
Darkwood
Noita
Rain World
DUSK
Disco Elysium
VA-11 Hall-A is great, need that sequel asap
Disco Elysium & Darkwood are both sick too
Deus Ex Mankind Divided
-> a better cyberpunk game than CP77 imo. One of the best soundtracks and sidequests of this gen, Level Design is stellar
Prey
-> Bioshock meets Alien, but even better than Bioshock imo, Level Design and Atmosphere are fye, the ending was also amazing and unexpected
Metro Exodus
-> realistic Fallout setting in russia but with immersive gameplay, great atmosphere and cool sandbox design, Story was great too
what are some of the rpg elements in mankind divided
might delete cyberpunk for that game

Multiple approaches -> Combat, stealth, hacking, and social approaches
Every choice you make in the game will have a consequence, and every decision you make will ultimately have an impact
A set of augmentations -> way cooler than cp77s mods which were a big waste beside the mantis balde and some other stuff
weapons are customizable (non kill gameplay with stun cartridges fun as f***)
amazing side quests with different outcomes
hacking way more fun than in cp77
I wouldnt call it an RPG, its a mixed genre, but thats why i love it. Such a unique game.

might give it a 2nd chance cyberpunk really disappointed me
Buy the deluxe version of Deus Ex MD too, because the DLC missions are fye too
Prison and Bank mission
The new DOOM games are criminally underrated. I’m somebody that grew up on plot heavy JRPG stories, but the DOOM franchises new story they’re fleshing out is Movie worthy. + the gameplay is second to none (& I don’t even fw FPSs).
Literally makes a
(Heaven vs Hell) Vs. Earth in an Abrahamic sense fun to play & discover.

DOOM 2016 was so exhausting for me (in a good way). Will play Eternals one day, but not anyday soon probably.
Great game, the story is pretty basic but good, gameplay is f***ing amazing.
Binding of Isaac
VISAGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
heavily inspired by PT, great great game
very difficult puzzels, kind of 'how the f*** did they think of that' like PT, controls are very clunky tho
but the atmopshere is insane
early access released 2-3 years ago, full game released in october 2020
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd_Lc3sH61YIf Visage was released by a Triple A company it would get so much more hype. Insanely great story and atmosphere, looks amazing too. Just some slight bugs and controls being really annoying at times.

Gonna definitely get in more on Deus Ex franchise, did you play digital deluxe edition of the last one?
Sleeping Dogs
ITS 4 dollars on PlayStation and its usually pretty cheap
Great game

human revolution
it kinda aged bad cuz of its yellow filter tho
What a f***ing game. Like nothing you've ever played before or since.
The gameplay is just serviceable but the narrative and setting are simply unreal. The less you know about it the better, but essentially it's a commentary on the disposable nature of violence in media and a takedown of the 'American hero' archetype
One of the best twists/endings you'll find to top it all off.
