I love 3 6 but cmon bro they're not more influential than Wu. Maybe in trap music but overall nahhhhh

Everyone makes beats, uses flows, outright samples, and co-opts imagery from them nowadays. This has been going on for almost 20 years now.

Overall I'd agree too even now you see non trap artist using they sound and sampling them.

Hell more New York rappers nowadays claim Three 6 as an influence then Wu Tang.

Three 6 influenced the biggest artist out of NYC now then Wu

In trap 36 and Bone Thugs have a lot of their s*** copied. N u right about even their image being copied. But p much every rapper past 93 is influenced in some way by Wu. Not even comparable. Ur comparing the Beatles to Nirvana

Bad comparison. I'm comparing Metallica to The Velvet Underground, and The Velvet Underground are better.

Nirvana more influential to the modern context of rock but that modern context wouldn't exist without the Beatles.

The influence is way more far reaching

More influential than 99% of other groups out there. This includes Wu-Tang, OutKast, etc.

Underground Vol. 1 is a masterpiece, Mystic Stylez a classic

Had a little bit of everything. Lord Infamous was a dope lyricist, Koop had crazy melodies, Gangsta Boo was one of the first prominent female emcees, Paul & Juicy are legendary producers. Lotta versatility

Birthed quite a few subgenres of hip hop, and inspired even more.

First rap group to win an Oscar

Possibly the only 90s rap group that kids stan today still.

Three 6 Mafia is the GOAT no discussion.
