Bad comparison. I'm comparing Metallica to The Velvet Underground, and The Velvet Underground are better.
Ey im not arguing quality here, most the time I'd rather bump 36 too
but if we talking straight influence, Wu influenced EVERY rapper from lyrical to gangster to pop to everything in between. 36 influence not that far reaching. I promise you, more kids have heard a Wu song vs a 36 track
Nirvana more influential to the modern context of rock but that modern context wouldn't exist without the Beatles.
The influence is way more far reaching
Wu Tang started dropping two years before The Beatles and Nirvana comparison doesn't really hold weight either

Damn you aint heard?
Just looking out for your mental health and cultural awareness friend. Stay golden.

I'm not talking quality either. Prime Velvet Underground and prime Metallica are very comparable. But Metallica excelled at exactly one genre. They may have perfected it, but it was just one. VU created or were at the forefront of numerous genres. Three 6 were the same.
Their influence is much farther reaching than just trap.

This is where your argument fails and you've yet to disprove OP or my post.
I showed you New York rappers today Niggas in WU city who show more love too and copy Three 6 More.
The biggest folks out of that genre at that. Heard ago Wu Tang was that group but Three 6 has since taken that void.
Niggas was out here doing Freestyle challenges to "Who Run It".
Besides documentary and showed when was the last time the youth or relevant artist sampled or ran to Wu music like Three 6?.
Hell Juicy was outlasted Wu Tang alone and was on Weeknd tapes.

or maybe not
but as long as we can agree that Three 6 are GOATs
Run DMC
Another one of the very few rap groups who can claim they are more influential than Three 6. Respect.
imo outkast is the greatest hip hop ever and some of the goat music across all genres
I dont think anyone comes close to the first 4 albums
I'll take the group that has 2 all timers and a third legend and the most underrated rapper ever in it
NWA made rap RAP. Anything cool in hiphop nwa made and they made it cool.
''We started this gangsta s***
and this the motherfucking thanks i get?''

I didn't think about all that grime other influence tbh u right about that
u rite in terms of 36 influence on rappers sounds but idk if I'd say that 36 influenced mc's more tho if we talking lyrically

Wu are definitely more influential on raw lyricism, but music as a whole, Three 6 has them beat.

nah i totally see what yall talking bout when it comes to the sound. I can see their influence being greater in terms of that but mc'ing n strictly speaking on lyrics n s*** idk...
I say this with all love to Wu and Three 6 because both Underground Vol. 1 and 36 Chambers are in my top 5 albums of all time any genre.
