Wayne & Thug were still 100% cool before then. their “beef” didn’t start until Wayne dissed Thug on Sorry 4 The Wait 2 because the blogs told Wayne that Thug was dissing him first. if you actually knew anything about the situation, you’d know Thug had been doing nothing but praising Wayne until then & had planned on naming his debut project Tha Carter 6 in HONOR of Wayne, not as a diss, LONG before C5 even got pushed back. even after C5 got delayed, Thug was still saying on Instagram and in interviews how the title was an homage, not a diss.

First of all, SFTW 2 came out January 2015 so even if that’s when their “beef” started that’s still before those tweets of Flow/YSL that you just link which proves my point. Flow dissed Thug because of the Wayne situation.

And secondly, if you knew Thug you’d know he didn’t like the cold shoulder wayne was giving him at the time. So when the Wayne/Cash Money s*** hit the fan Thug took that opportunity to capitalize on the beef for his debut album

Thirdly, Thug isn’t some innocent being like you portraying him to be. He knew Wayne didn’t like the Carter 6 title which is why he said “can’t even name the album Carter 6 because these f*** ass niggas tryna sue. So Barter 6 coming”

and about the change to B6, Thug had already done all that promo & the cover shoot and had the album completely ready to drop as C6by that point. it would’ve been a huge waste of resources if he scrapped all that to change the title more than just to Barter instead of Carter. yea, Thug trolled Wayne a bit, but Thug never had any actual issues with Wayne. it was a completely one-sided beef on Wayne’s part.
