Don't say Spotify Premium because I'm not listening to ads or "breaks" (ads).

The thing that most people choose tidal over the others is cause they were one of the only DSPs that had lossless streaming but they charge you more for that feature. apple music just introduced lossless streaming as well this year, at no additional cost so I'd probably say go with apple music

also apple music recommendation algorithm has improved so much over the past 2 years its on par or just under spotify's which imo has the best algorithm for music discovery but I think their UI is so confusing and not well designed imo.

what does tidal have? Hifi and exclusives

What does apple have? even better hifi, dolby atmos, and local file support. For me, the lack of local file support on Spotify and Tidal is a dealbreaker. I don't wanna switch apps and hear soundcloud ads when I listen to stuff, and with apple it's all in one place. I love it!

(not to mention it means nothing is platform exclusive. oh its only on tidal? I'll just download and add it manually lol)

those are built into the podcast, by the podcast. if you listen to that podcast on any service, it will have the same "ads". spotify premium itself does not serve ads, just like every other service. so no that's not a valid excuse

AM is definitely getting better and getting close to spotify, but still needs credit info like spotify/tidal, and easier sorting options directly in the app (also like spotify/tidal). the social aspect of spotify (showing what friends are listening to on the right side of the interface) is keeping me locked in spotify for now

and their new UI heavily tries to funnel you into listening to podcasts imo
