    Pedophile app

The only reason anyone would see that is if the algorithm figured out that they wanted that

Yea idk it’s weird that generation confuses me they’re so like super overly sarcastic to the point that they’re unaware it bothers me

And still to me as someone who makes things I’d still feel some type of way if people were consuming my art in such a s***ty manner p sure that’s why I’m so f***ing passionate about this 😅😭

I get that. As an older person who makes stuff I would be ecstatic if people were interacting with my stuff in any way on that scale. Even if it’s a joke to them, I feel like their sarcasm and irony doesn’t mean that they aren’t also really connecting with it it’s just how they are. If it was just a joke then Blonde streams wouldn’t be going up, clearly some people are actually seeing the memes and then going to legitimately check out the music

So you think people are suddenly playing Frank oceans entire discog because it’s more popular cuz of a meme?

You’re just making generalizations to make yourself mad

People most def will stream an artist discog more because the artist is popular at the moment

Eh yea it just depends on how you feel as an artist

Me personally I only want people to love cherish and connect with my art is a positive way

Same way I do with my favorite artist

And how does that automatically mean that they don’t take the artist seriously? Isn’t that only evidence that they are respected, considering their entire discog is receiving attention and not just a single meme song?

Literally given so many tracks and artists new life and a buzz

Frank ocean’s lost is going viral now and now has like 400 million streams from being a semi popular album cut from 8 years ago

I feel like because of this app everyone can go back to being creative. If s*** like Yung Lean can go viral or an album cut like Lost then it’s no need to be samey no more at least for rap

Not gonna lie that’s idealistic and corny

Not everyone is gonna connect with your stuff the same way and having that rigid of an expectation for it seems absolutely absurd to me. If people connect with my art in any way I’d be happy. Most likely no one ever will tho so I would take what I can get

Some of the artists you cherish most, you may never have heard of if some other people didn’t passively enjoy their s***

I mean it skews to only a couple tracks but the fact that blonde re entered billboard when lost started blowing up again shows it makes people check out the artist

Like take fleetwood mack when their s*** blew sure people just checked out the one song but a nigga like me that loves 80s indie it made me check out their other stuff

    Hopefully

You just need a nice melody or production but it shows u dnt gotta sacrifice the art

It just means that the music is trendy

    Bring trendy is terrible

People that follow trends don’t GIVE A F*** about the thing that’s trendy

    This is my whole point

I WANT PEOPLE TO GIVE A F*** AND CARE

    BE PASSIONATE ABOUT IT

Yea I 100 percent agree with you

It’s something I struggle with like i can’t come to terms with the fact that like some guy i don’t like or like some yt kid in New Hampshire that doesn’t connect with or understand what I’m saying might enjoy something i make

    It bothers me

  • Yeah no it’s really not.
