Does anyone notice that anywhere you go now, you’re expected to tip for the most basic level of service one provides to you?
In places such as coffee shops, or even food places where the receptionist does no more than simply yelling out that your food is ready, why am I expected to tip for someone basically doing the bare minimum?
From here on I’ll only tip for personalized services or delivery people, the rest can kindly go f*** off. Been tipping nothing as of late towards regular food places and frankly don’t give any f***s 🤷♂️
YO i feel u bro
everytime i go to get a sub sandwich or a f***ing pizza the lil device for ur card always asks for a tip
im like this nigga standing in front of me while i press no tip
makes me feel like s*** tbh
Why couldn’t the owners provide their workers better wages? Why does it have to be the customer’s responsibility to give wages?
Unfortunately things will only switch around once everyone stops tipping. We know that’ll never happen because if someone stops, the toxic culture blames them for the problem 🙄

typical grifter s***. playing off peoples emotions. i think im jus not gonna tip cus 1. im broke and 2. it shouldnt be my responsibility as a student to make sure someone else has money, like students are always broke
Most of the tips from those little computers go straight to the business and is simply finesse
I always ask the worker if they get the tips or tip cash only

Shows these companies really like to screw over both the workers and customers 😬
Best course of action is to stop eating out all together, but it’s difficult to resist the temptation 😤

@op broke
Just an easy way of getting extra money, it's basically a scam especially if it shows up on the card reader and there is no extra "service" or effort that goes along with it.
Just tip the servers and ignore the rest.

F*** them
