Heard there's a crazy body horror scene in this

There are a few wtf wow/oh my gosh scenes…the movie is restrained and does not do it without purpose though. I thought I was going into a more full on horror genre type movie

The director said at a q&a that her intent with the movie was to talk about love

I experienced more pain empathy for the characters than horror/scared for characters empathy by the visuals
