I first heard KPOP with everyone else in America with Gangnam Style (little did I know a YG act would steal my heart eventually - PSY is signed to YG)

Then my little sister and cousin got into BTS around 2 years ago and I thought they were the worst thing in the planet. I guess it was my toxic masculinity not being able to accept MEN make femininity look so fire

And finally last November I saw my future wife Jennie Kim on IG (probably on the popular page) and after following her for a week of 2 I discovered the rest of the BLACKPINK members. I wasn’t into it at all at first, especially the rapping...

But if you know who my avy is then you know what’s popping.

Discovering BP has led me to discover a whole bunch of other KPOP acts that are great, a new found love for Korean culture, and a new online community within KTT and Twitter of folks who also can’t get enough of these super talented people.

KPOP is great. Very happy I got into it.
