Keep learning. Stay mentally and physically active.

No matter what path you choose in life, always keep trying to expand your horizons and absorb new things. Monitor you body and mind constantly to keep tabs on how you’re feeling. I think these things are important to prevent yourself from stagnant or stale later in life. It’s important to be involved in life and not dissolve into a life that’s not satisfying.

DO NOT go into your first serious relationship thinking yall gonna get married. Or at any point no matter how good it may seem. Yall are gonna grow up and if you’re values aren’t matching then you shouldn’t force it.

    Happy birthday fam❤️

Also do a yearly evaluation of where you at in life. Make sure you are happy and doing the things you want to be doing. If you’re not then get on changing that ASAP.

And college is becoming less and less important by the second, especially after COVID. Make sure the industry you’re trying to enter absolutely requires a college degree before applying.

    Financial stability is so important.

F*** car payments. F*** bills. F*** any payments. Own your s***.

Own your phone. Own your car. Have a healthy savings account.

But remember; money isn't everything. It's just a tool.

This 100%. The earlier you get into strong financial habits the better. Make sure you’re saving a set amount each pay but allow yourself the freedom to splurge with the rest (within reason or course). And yeah, if you can avoid it don’t get a car loan - not worth forking over do much interest on a depreciating asset

Only hang around with people (including girls) who don't drain you. Don't waste your time with toxic people. You wouldn't believe how many years of your life you can waste on people who aren't really looking out for you.

Find what you love to do AND what you're good at doing and do those things a lot. Don't let anyone tell you to follow a path that makes you fundamentally unhappy.

Only go to college to forward your career. You can socialize cheaper elsewhere.

Get out of your town/city asap after high school to experience new things, people, worldviews. It sounds hard but people that age are just as nervous you will be, at that stage in your life

In the next 5 years, you're going to grow a lot and not even realize it.
