Think I started at 18
teach yourself outside of school
learn to learn type thing
goat advice mr collapse
Work on yourself & never stop
Success/self improvement isn’t a goal, it’s a journey
Always find ways to improve yourself
Damn you young af, just keep doing you and enjoy yourself
Unless you one of those that overthink/worry about your “future” but take it easy bruh, you’ll be just fine
Have fun & help others
Figure out the best way for you to live a life full of both
There's gonna be a lot of mis steps, confusion, and re calibrating but as long as you stay on the path I don't think there's a way to regret life doing this
Happy birthday bruh!
Happy birthday OP!! My advice to you is that you’re young so don’t take anything too serious. I’m 27 now and barely anything from my 16 year old life is relevant to my life today. Have fun, don’t be afraid to make mistakes, and enjoy your day
Financial stability is so important.
F*** car payments. F*** bills. F*** any payments. Own your s***.
Own your phone. Own your car. Have a healthy savings account.
But remember; money isn't everything. It's just a tool.
Dont think the two things are mutually exclusive tbh.
You can quite easily be financially stable and buy things on credit.
We pretty much all have bills to pay every month, in that sense paying for a car is no different to paying for your electricity

That's Mr Dr professor collapse to you

Smh
basically everyone who f***s up in life either just lets go of their ambition entirely or has a "self improvement" phase around their mid 20s
apologies for the s***ty wojak meme but it illustrates the point well. if you can get this mentality in your younger years youre a huge step ahead of everyone else. even if it's stuff you want to do on the side like learning music, working out or doing art it's a good time to grind skills in those areas.
i'd seriously start making a plan for the future, whether you want to go to college, what career you're interested in, etc. i seriously wish i had back then. this falls in line with the building skills thing. if you want to chase your dreams and become a musician, start working at that right now, even if it's a long shot, it's better than just f***ing around all day.
you can still have fun and s*** obv but if you can build discipline, apply yourself and have some sort of plan for the future you'll probably end up being successful in what you do.
Ari. Take school serious and get good grades. I wish I tried harder in school so I could’ve went straight to a university instead of go to a boring community college and miss out on the experience of living in dorms and s***. Only if you want to go to college tho.
Since most of y’all are older what advice would you give me heading into the future. How does life change after this milestone?
Everything you think that will happen before you turn 30 won’t, it will prob be the complete opposite. Best thing to do is work hard and have as much fun as possible. Keep a close group of friends and don’t worry about relationships for awhile. You will eventually find what you want.
