Ottawa prob got the best english rappers after Toronto but Montreal got a more popping scene than Ottawa n can compete with Toronto cause of the french music. Multiple mtl rappers pull 1m+ views on their videos consistently .

Ohh Montreal artists definitely be coming with fire music but I don't necessarily agree. Language barrier gonna be a huge problem for artists that make music in French but wanna perform in Canada and the United States. That's not to say that there isn't global demand for music in French but an artist from Ottawa who speaks english will probably have an easier time blowing up as a global artist

this will be a local hit for sure but time will tell if it blows up in america

the anglophone scene is poppin off in MTL right now, not necessarily views wise but creatively. In the next year some of these artists are goona blow they just need the right cosigns.

s*** can't lie i'm not in tune with anyone in the anglo scene outside of kay bandz, only reason i know about the french scene is cause half the popping rappers live near me. what area most of the anglo dudes from cuz most of the french ones are from cartierville/mtl north
