Its been plenty of independent rappers who went # 1 on Apple music.
Mac Miller broke independent records with Blue Slide Park.
Chance had a historic independent moment for 3 years.
Macklemore Went Platinum As An Independent and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard in a time where Albums weren’t selling.
