Fortune was panned and I believe FAME was too. But FAME had tracks like: Deuces, Look At Me Now, Yeah 3x, She Ain't You, Beautiful People, and No Bullshit. So if critics were panned it in reviews it doesn't seem to mean much because the album generated a lot of fan favorite hits.
I believe that Graffiti, FAME, and Fortune were all albums critics went extra hard in s***ting on because these came after he beat Rihanna. The industry was truly against him at one point forreal. I'm sure he pissed off a whole lotta people connected to Rihanna from collaborators, producers, managers, etc, so there's no doubt the industry was doing what they could to black ball him. But like I said earlier about "protest streams", people didn't seem to care about what he did and still supported and defended him by consuming his music

If Gucci went to jail for s*** he did and has faced murder charges for apparent murders, then I don't think that means that it was "ok" that he did that kinda stuff.

Those kinda streams are the reason why that racist c***country singer shot up the charts after getting caught up for calling someone the n word. The people who went on to stream his album pretty much only did it to defend and support an artist who is a piece of s***.
