It’s crazy. 10 years ago in 2009 we had a batch of new rappers that were steering the direction of hip hop (Cudi,Drake,Wale, XXL FReshmen cover) all innovators whether they’re relevant today or not.
But now we don’t have that batch of artist and a lot of these guys are really young dying, going to jail, catching stds .

Wander what the next movemnt will be. There’s a huge gap waiting to be filled. But it’s needs to transcend the f*** s*** we’ve witnessed this decades
