Niggas still gon do potentially laced d****, niggas still gon play both sides (entertainment and the streets) and niggas still gon rob and kill niggas because they hungry beyond logic

i kinda consider it seperate from the modern post-2016 soundcloud era because that's where s*** kinda went less original and congealed more towards one sound and got way less interesting and more palatable towards the masses

its proto-sc era but you can still consider it part of it i guess

Lmao @ Niggas ITT lumping in three completely different scenes and calling it “soundcloud era”

SGP and everything he had going on

AWFUL Records Atlanta (Carti Key! Uzi linking w Carti) and everything that offsprung from that

2016-2017 XXX, Trippie, post Uzi Type acts and everything that comes from that which includes JuiceWRLD

post 2016 still had some gems but i feel you. everything took on the mainstream atlanta sound

  • Dec 10, 2019

Also the bad outweighed the good by tons

It was maybe 10 artists that had something special and it was hundreds of niggas who thought they could do what a Carti or X or Uzi did and they all sucked but niggas let s*** slide if u had a okay beat and if u said s*** was wack u were “old” or a “hater” lmao

I’m out of touch with the culture because I wasnt in Kodack early? What kinda assumption is that? Lmao

    Man No

You can’t connect X and JuiceWRLD in 2017 to Key and Carti in 2015 to SGP Black Kray Rocky whosever in 2012-2013

Lmaoo They literally have no connection other than making variations of trap music

A lot of the official narrative and sequencing of these events is gonna come from the documentaries they make lol bc niggas just lumping a whole lotta s*** together
