Skip Japan. Overrated.
Italy and France are fun.
Skip a decent country in favor of two garbage ones?
bro
ive been to like 65 countries.. AMA
most of europe is boring as f*** imo
go to Asia, Africa, or South America.
Be careful when travelling alone.
could you tell me more about traveling to Africa? really really wanna go, tho im not sure which places would be okay for me to visit (am white)
Idk if i would travel abroad alone.
But if i would, it would probably only be Canada lol
I’ve been in a funk and keep feeling like I’m stuck an infinite loop of monotony. Today I realized that I have no commitments outside of work. I can work from home 2 days out of the weekday. I just graduated college and have been living at home while I stash my salary for the future. I’ve realized I’m fortunate enough to be in a place where I could do a 4 day trip at least once a month, and then I want to do a longer trip every now and then. I’ve never been anywhere outside of my state except florida, mexico, and ATL. Has anyone done any solo traveling? How do you like it? What are some cool places to travel to in and out of the US?
There's so much to visit in this world, if you can vacation every month and not be too complacent afterwards go for it
Visit Europe, North Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Australia & East Asia, Mexico, Canada, really just look it up on the internet, world's so big I couldn't even make a TL;DR of what to visit
Just watch out if crazy s*** is going down in the region you're trying to visit or around it before travelling
u been to japan?
yea, dope place, super clean, great food, polite people and very safe. only thing is it's kinda pricey -- regular NYC/LA prices tho
Nice, definitely gonna ask more in a bit, but in terms of safety…
Obviously one has to be cautious and practice common sense, but how dangerous is it really to solo travel? What are some of the best and some of the worst places to do this?
if it's your first time travelling, I'd probably go to europe. it wont be as exciting as Asia or whatever but u can get a feel for what it's like going by yourself.
most of europe is extremely safe and the only danger you'd get into is pickpocketing or scamming. but as long as ur careful you shouldd be gucci.
if u wanna meet people along the way (which I highly recommend) stay at hostels and/or use tinder/bumble to talk to locals, and get them to show you around.
if I were you I'd probably wait to go to like South America or something until you get a general feel for what it's like going by yourself to a new place because it can be a big change for some.

I'm white too. A lot of africa is safe. I went to East Africa - one of the safest places in the whole continent.
It was BEAUTIFUL. straight up, some of the best places I've ever been nature wise.
The people are so f***ing nice too, bro.
If I were you I would go to Kenya (Masai Mara, Nairobi for a bit) / Tanzania (Zanzibar, Killamanjaro, etc) -- they have a fair amount of tourist infrastructure. Be warned, it's pretty priced for a lot of things tho. Like safari tours and s*** are like 300 a day sometimes.

you cant imagine how much you helped. thank you so much
still no idea what's the problem
It's incredibly common for old white men to fetishize South East Asian women, go to those countries on "sex tours", prey on the poor and unprotected women there and coax them into marriage with the promise of moving to America as long as the man can keep getting their nut. It's super predatory.

There's no way your reading comprehension is that bad
I didn't even say OP was white. I'm explaining why people would take issue with you saying "it's super easy to meet girls in SE Asia and you might end up with a wife".

shame that people think so lowly about those girls that any mention of dating over there = s***tourism
