here come the mfs itt that hate when their small little darling artist becomes mainstream and popular
Me
i think his voice just naturally changed over the years but yeah super cool voice
Could be, but I think he doesn't really rap in that aggressive lower voice no more, like Stargazing verse 2 he goes there a lil, but still not as gritty
He used to do it alot on dbr and rodeo

yeah true he’s doing way more with the singing and melodies now he’s not really barring up like he did at times.
side note: not to turn it into another one of those debates but i thought astro was gonna be his best album after hearing butterfly effect, green and purple, and stargazing when virgil DJ’d it but then halfway thru the album i was like nah
DBR turning 10 in a few months got me feeling old as f***
crazy to think i’ve been a trav stan for over 10 years now
This the song that made me a fan officially
Travis was f***ing rapping, those pockets he was finding in his flow always turn up my inner caveman
Denenadeneneda
dedenedenedena
Denenadeneneda
dedenedenedena
im either counting or im c*******
miss these middle-school tier bars travis, nowadays everything he releases feels so artificial since astro dropped

Yeah that's what I am thinking too, cause it's his melodic s*** that become hits, thing is he somehow always dumb himself down, to the point it all sounds lazy
And facts man, Green and Purple and A-Man were actually my fav from that care package, was shocked that BE became such a damn hit
And Stargazing was so hype too
I don't think Astro was necessarily bad or something, just didn't have as much highs and not as much memorable moments/fts
There's dope s*** there but idk it doesn't stick like the s*** on Rodeo/DBR
still a few great joints on there, for example I find Coffee Bean extremely underrated
DBR turning 10 in a few months got me feeling old as f***
Was living at my grandparents house, working at walmart
Time...
I think this was the song that made me like Travis, I wasn't feeling Owl Pharaoh at the time
