Both are terrible lyricists.

I can see the argument for Travis as an artist, he has good beat selection and has shown he can craft a great album. The mixing creates good atmosphere and tracks flow well. He’s a bit of an auteur. Future has some awesome projects but they seem more like collections of songs than cohesive units.

DS2 is stellar because the songs on it are dope, but it’s not much more than the sum of its (very solid) parts. Rodeo has some misses but I’d rank it above DS2 personally.

As a rapper though, Future no contest. Travis thrives on “vibe,” not on rapping ability.
