Yeah people only embrace the mental health issues until the sick person offends them. Like its supposed to be this cute and quiet journey. Lot of the time its messy and ugly and hurts even the healthy people.
Plus people dont realize how hard it is to stay on medication. Your medications side effects will have you dealing with an entirely different set of issues. So its like damned if u do and damned if you don't.
Like being on meds to keep me out of the hospital was a positive. The negative was i was loaded on medication i couldn't function well enough to hold a job.
Its not just a matter of taking it or not taking it. Its a really hard pill to swallow, pun intended
