hmm idk about this one, I tried going into in with an open mind to see where it went but nothing was really hooking me this episode.

I wouldn't even say it was bad at all (besides some of the constant music being distracting) but the dialogue in this ep + all the standard family drama just felt a little off & made me want more pulpy noir vibes instead

I'll keep watching but

there seems to be some hints of supernatural stuff brewing but it's a lot less stylized for me, I prefer heavy noir vibes too. i'm gonna stay tuned mainly for Jodie

Loved the callbacks to The Thing and the heavier focus on supernatural elements in general, they fit the setting perfectly
