This season? Idk I'm only 3 episodes deep but I have issues with it. I just rewatched season 1 and loved it so.

seems like u only need to stick with s01 of every series. if u feel the need to compare everything with that one and only

They're anthology shows. That happens. A lot of people prefer S02 of Fargo. Most people prefer S01 of True Detective.

If it's good, it'll change my mind. Happens all the time. I just watched One Cut of the Dead and thought it was mid until the last 30 minutes. Then what happened? It got really good. It totally proved me wrong.

Very good first episode. It sets the tone very well and definitely leaves you excited for what's to come as the season progresses. Jodie Foster is amazing like she always is.

On a side note, I need Navarro to ride me like that too. Good lawd!

Fargo S2 is prestige television and the best of the series.

I have conflicted feelings about this. I love Jodie Foster and the atmosphere. The perpetual darkness of Alaska is appropriately disorienting. Kali Reis’ performance is not working for me at all. It’s only the first episode, so I’m hoping the performance evolves. Some of the dialogue also feels clunky and ham fisted. But that’s not exactly anything new. Who can forget Vince Vaughn’s goofy ass dialogue in S2?

I gave up on anything being as good as S1 a long time ago.

Some of the music choices on this are jarring.

That version of the magpie nursery rhyme was so cringe I actually had to skip it.

the weirdest part about this first is the reaction i get for thinking that some of the character relationships aren't clear enough. My girl watching this thought that john hawkes, the son, and Jodie Foster are all related and I genuinely couldn't tell you if thats true or not
