They’re playing Twist and Shout downstairs at work
You all live in the night country now.
Should've been Issa Rae
She'd be able to write a character on here that's more than just cranky depressed traumatized cop for sure

I’m heard rumors that Un Kasa and Montell Jordan are being considered as next season’s detectives
I don't get s2 hate. Especially after this season.
Great characters and acting. Interesting story.

I was f***in around but that is a good point
What is funny about season 1 is how Rust is weird as f*** and everyone brings it up. Like he's not just a weird character from audience view. He's weird even in that world

the plot had so much potential, think they tried to do too much though
The callbacks to season 1 just made this feel like fan fiction, like HBO’s Watchmen show but s***tier. Probably would not have finished it if it hadn’t been so short.

Trust me imma dive in to it very soon
I dont trust u
I don’t know how many of yal were watching season 1 in real time, but it’s clear that some people here are either forgetting the f***ing stranglehold that it had on the country at the time, or simply were too young while it was airing.
It’s FAR better than just “good” or “fine”.
I just watched it for the first time this month and it’s sensational lmao

Woody Harrelson was sick of his s*** lmao
Just a curiosity but wasn't Pizzo exposed time ago from having heavily borrowed -if not copied- many s1 quotes and dialogues from Alan Moore?

The final scene yes, it lifts heavily from a comic Alan Moore released in 2000
Thomas Ligotti as well.

Uh I can see what they mean w season 1 being based of pessimist writers, but do the mfers writing these articles not think it’s pretty obvious that the character of Rust Cohle has read these ‘classic’ works??? Him paraphrasing some of the standpoints is not ‘plagiarism’ at all lmao.
I stopped reading after they were trying to say that S2 ripped off LA Confidential and Chinatown cus off the corruption theme and it being set in LA thats like half of the entire Noir genre lmao. And LA Confidential in itself is one big rip off movie.

Some of this is just hater s***, but there's lil tiny nugs of truth in this article too.
