Kodak didn’t get pardoned though. He got commutation, meaning he’ll get early release but it’s still on his record. He didn’t get completely off but at least he finally free.

president can only pardon/commute people accused of federal crimes. both kodak and wayne got picked up for illegal gun procession which is a federal crime.
murder and s*** is usually a state crime so the president can't pardon someone like YNW Melly, that would be up to the Governor of his prison's state.
