Will it live up to the hype? Have had Zaxbys which is great, hear good things about Canes, but they ain't really close to where I'm at, till today.

Food in hand

My review... I'll start with presentation.

Bread: Cut some sub bread in half and buttered it up? Zaxbys > Canes.
Fries: No seasoning on these b****es. Zaxbys > Canes.
Chicken: Feel like compared to Zaxbys, they look a bit smaller and mundane. Zaxbys > Canes.
Sauce: Sauce is sauce, looks similar to Zaxbys. Canes = Zaxbys.

Now to the actual food.

Bread: Had a bit of a sweet taste to it, I f***ed with it honestly and I tend to forego the bread when I get Zaxbys. Canes > Zaxbys.

Fries: Unseasoned and s***ty. Zaxbys > Canes.

Sauce: Pretty much the same sauce wise. Think Canes may be slightly thicker, but both solid. Canes = Zaxbys.

Chicken: The chicken is pretty underwhelming, reminds of some frozen tyson chicken or something. Doesn't compete with Zaxby's at all in that regard. Zaxbys > Canes.

Final Verdict

Pretty overrated 👎🏾

If you got a Zaxbys near you cherish that s***, if you've never had Zaxby's I highly recommened it.

They just put one next to my apartment. Chicken is underwhelming but the sauce is god tier.
