    OUT OF ORDER

Nah we regular non-billionaire folk gotta come together and hang these politicians and media heads that treat us like we’re their cattle.

I agree with the protesters and defunding police, etc. But small business owners been getting absolutely f***ed this year. First with the lockdown, and now random people breaking their windows, looting, and burning down their whole s***.

Meanwhile big corporations got a $4 TRILLION bailout from the government.

The f***ery in the system we live in goes far beyond just the law enforcement. Now that’s something CNN or Fox won’t address. Because these media channels are all political propaganda machines made to keep us fighting with each other while they stay lacing their pockets, and if you haven’t realized that by now and still play into their game of judging people based off the color of their skin then you’re part of the problem.

most of this higher echelon media stations would rather start an actual race war than admit for one second that our institutions are corrupt

this is a terrible post lmao. please educate yourself on the historical use of the outside agitator narrative and then also explain how and why anyone would need to travel from elsewhere when there are protests happening everywhere?

I'm very well educated, I lived my life in Paris projects, thank you. We invented riots my dude, I know how these work and I organized several. So settle down with the condescending tone child.

The right wing media weaponizes it but it doesn't make it untrue, like the left wing media weaponizing racism doesn't make it untrue.

And the riots aren't literally anywhere, and at the beginning they were concentrated in a few places.

I guess, but the bigger picture is because of this scene being made, there’s going to be actual changes to police departments. While I don’t support the destruction of small businesses or public utilities, have destroying government buildings and police stations have sent a clear message across to those in power

On that I agree. But why not travel to other neighborhoods and f*** them up? That's how we usually do it here, it's always cacs and children that destroy property in our own district

Actually, the majority of protesters arrested have shown to be from the state and city of origin. Yeah there are some foreign randos damaging foreign property, but I believe most of the outsiders (which again aren’t as many as conservatives are making it seem) are destroying large businesses and government buildings. Even if they wouldn’t step foot there otherwise, I don’t see a problem with other people joining together to destroy government property, I mean the more help they get the stronger the movement seems

Government facilities and the public services they offer to poor communities are something the right wing movements have historically despised and the left wing movements and civil rights leaders have been fighting for, so I'm surprised to see that conservatives are the most vocal about it. They're hypocrites and they're only despising it for the f*** of it to thinly veil their racism and bootlickery, don't get it f***ed up I'm not sleep, but even a broken clock is right... Twice a day. Go burn police cars if you wanna burn something ffs, go and destroy the houses of the opps, throw their kids under a bridge for all I care, just don't burn education and economic hotspots of your own community. If you're hell bent on destroying everything, go do that in the rich neighborhoods, I'd encourage it.

When we protest here we make sure we burn the enemy where it hurts, not cut our noses to spite our faces.

first, paris =/ the US, so you growing up there has no bearing on your understanding of the historical use of the outside agitator narrative in order to quell black rebellion.

second, it is largely untrue. when the mayors of these cities have tried to use it, the actual data ends up proving them wrong.

Of course I can only offer perspective from my own experiences, outside agitators and Antifa infiltrating movements been a thing here for the past 50 years. From May 68 to Gilets Jaunes through CPE and Zied and Bounna. What is special about the US on that matter, please enlighten me if I lack some of the facts.

Can't speak to paris but in America, like I said, it's pretty much just a narrative pushed by those in power (and the KKK back in the day) to downplay the movements, anger, and discontent of black people.

Does the fact that it's a narrative being pushed to fit an agenda make it automatically untrue?

Is this the fourth political theory in action?

When I say narrative in this case, yes I mean something that is untrue, on a large scale. i'm sure there have been isolated incidents of what youre talking about, but not anywhere near enough to where it should be talked about.

I see where our disconnect comes from, yeah of course it doesn't happen nearly as often as fox News would have you believe, I thought we were past clarifying that, I was bringing nuance to the fact that it's f***ed up that it happens at all and we shouldn't allow it. We should punish it and protect our resources when it does happen. I should probably have clarified in retrospect.

I get what you’re saying, but the government welfare buildings will just be rebuilt anyway so people aren’t as worried about that. Plus a lot of them are of low quality in the first place. When I said government buildings I moreso meant like buildings for administrative purposes and things like that

Low income neighborhoods have less public service buildings and like you said they're of lesser quality because they pay less taxes and the city can't afford much. It may take years to rebuild a library. In that span of years, some kid misses out on a passion.

The internet exists, even in these areas. The very vast majority of Americans have access to the internet, so if someone really wants to learn about something there are plenty of avenues to do so besides public libraries. Also the rebuilt libraries may be of even higher qualities than the one they replaced

Internet is so high volume low quality and full of dopamine fixes, low effort high reward.

But that's off-topic and I feel too strongly about that it's impossible for me to be impartial 😁

I learned more about anything I really know about on the internet, than in school or any public library. There are low quality sources and high quality sources, but the point is both exist

Me too bro. Not everyone uses the internet as it was intended.

A library is one of the few last places you can go to if you have no money. For homeless people and families in extreme poverty it's the only way to access the internet too.

But there’s a chance people in extreme poverty don’t even have libraries to go to. I agree that it would probably be better off not being targeted, but seeing as Minneapolis has announced an end to their police and democrats have introduced a bill to bring more accountability, I’d say in general the unrest has been successful so far

They've been pushing to close libraries and parks man... Soon everything will cost money. I'm rich as f*** now but I remember my youth and it saddens me

They'll privatize air like they privatize water soon enough

BTW what are your thoughts on ACAB as an acronym?

I don’t hate all cops and I know some are good, but at the same time I have next to no sympathy for them getting all this hate because they chose to be cops. I hope the Minneapolis experiment is a success and leads to the end of policing as we know it across the country
