He did that months after he had already supported the BLM movement.

What he did wasn't a good look at all, which he apologized for, but acting like that's the only time he's ever spoken out politically is equally obtuse.

Fair enough. I'm not a super fan of these guys, but I feel it was blown up on social media circles back when it happened.

When there are legitimately racist, problematic, and ignorant artists that still get work or have their beliefs overlooked with no consequences, it gets frustrating to see the wrong people get a***yzed or attacked - if that makes sense.

Tøp is my guilty pleasure band. Been listening to them for 6 years. Trench was the magnum opus, and I’m hoping that Scaled and Icy can live up.

I just figured out how to get access to “Saturday.” Kinda weird how I did it but it worked.

Edit: it’s out now. I literally think I got it just a few minutes early lol. I get that this album is supposed to be DEMA controlling them to make pop music, but I hope we get some darker stuff too

I liked Shy Away a good bit and Choker was decent, but I'll pass on this. Sounds like Maroon 5, which isn't a good thing.

Making a mediocre album for "canon" is a lame reason to make a mediocre album lol.

They're better than this - they know it, we know it. 'Trench' was a powerhouse of an album.

Saturday is pretty alright but not great by twenty one pilots standards. Trench was immaculate and they need to do something of that caliber.

The singer was making statements about how this is him trying to justify his roots and his older styles of songwriting and adding modern/high quality production to it and I'm just like...

Redecorate is legit a deeply troubling song. They've never done anything like that fr. Prepare yourself when the album is light and bubbly and then the final song goes darker places than the other 40 mins.

It's the best song on the record (produced with the guy who did Trench), but good GRIEF the thing is heavy out of nowhere.

Please tell me the album is better than saturday. I liked shy away quite a bit but I was disappointed with saturday

Album surpassed my expectations. I’ll have to listen to it again to give a good assessment but I liked it on first listen.

I feel like if this band never had Blurryface come out, they'd never gotten 13 year old girls as fans and way more people would legitimately give them a chance.
