From 2x11 it's an unfinishing downward spiral (and I'll argue that even the very first nine episodes ain't that great). Will try to finish the season, laughing about Albert manners, drinking a good cup of coffee while Cooper is enjoying his... but both Lynch and the network could't find the energy to create a potential peak season. Did Lynch not directing it hit the season so strongly? Was it supposed to delve deeper in this whole supernatural bullshit? Why James can't stay relevant? Why they didn't explore more Benjamin downfall? Why Leo couldn't return from the dead and become a menace again? Eye-patch girl returning to high-school might be the worst sideplot I ever experienced to watch (like James with the milf obviously but even they didn't seem to care about him anymore).
So many brilliant characters reduced like this is painful to watch bro.

Who the f*** thought this was a great idea? Andy may have been quite goofy and sometimes insecure in the first season but he ended it on a high-note and went through a massive personal growth. The "sterile" joke and the other crap moments turned him into an ugly caricature.

Season 2 ep 1-9 and the final few episodes beat most of season 1 for me
Just skip the middle section of szn 2 on a rewatch tbh Lynch wasnât even around then
Season 2 finale easily the greatest episode in OG twin peaks, and perfectly set the stage for FWWM & The Return, both of which are infinitely better than the OG run anyway
Itâs been a jarring watch. Nothing is really like I expected it would be. Dougie is hilarious to me but damn is it tragic to see such a sharp mind walk around like that.
And it seems like itâs been all downhill for the people in Twin Peaks too. I hope we spend a lot more time there soon too, cause except for Bobby, the people have been stuck in the same place for 25 years or off worse
Itâs not much thoughts rn. Just vibes lol
The Return is Lynch magnum opus, and the whole point of the season is edging you with the nostalgia and proceeding to continually slap you in the face on some âshits never gonna be the same againâ and i love it
Season 3 gets so dark and abstract but in exactly the right ways. Also, once you dig deeper in even the weirdest of moments, there are def strong links to be laid out between events sparring over the whole series

yeah all this return talk and hype is pushing me to continue

Ayo Lynch didn't have to go that hard in the finale!

F*** them writers and directors that made me go through all those garbage episodes to reach this, the gap between 2x22 and the episodes before is HUGE! I can't rate this season highly after all that mid.
Will watch Fire Walk With Me tomorrow
Kyle confirming Dougie was inspired by Being There
been saying that ever since I watched the film. masterpiece tbh check it out if u haven't

I rate it higher than season 1 because i consider the middle stretch to be non cannon lol
FWWM & season 3 are top tier Lynch though
