Twin Peaks as a whole is honestly one of my favorite pieces of visual media I have seen to date. I vividly remember the first episode and feeling how much it was meant to be given that my birthday is February 24. The depth of the characters, the pacing and writing of the show, and the complexity and creativity of the plot are mind-boggling.

Started this two weeks ago. On s2 ep 18. This is show is absolutely amazing up until s2 ep 9 when the Laura storyline (seemingly?) concludes. Not feeling this Windom Earle s*** tbh. Heard the last episode is real good so thankfully I’m nearly done

Certain aspects of Alan Wake 2's plot are nearly identical to The Return

I feel like the windom earle arc sets up a lot of contrast for cooper that becomes pretty important, though understated, later on

If you are like me you wanna jump right in S3 after FWWM, I was so hyped after that movie. And season 3 aint nothing like the original show, so you dont have to worry about a similiar dump like in season 2

One of the most dreadful scenes I ever watched...

Mentioned it before but on this rewatch I really noticed just how much elements of motherhood are in season 3. From Aubreys mother still caring for her disabled son. The young mother losing her son in a tragic car accident. Naomi Watts character trying her best to make up for her failure of a husband and raising sonny jim. Bobbys Mom being proud of her son becoming a better person. Lucy, Shelly etc.

Maybe if Judy is the absolute negative energy then it is this emotion Sarah Palmer expressed right here.

3 episodes left of season 2… this s*** is heatin up man

S2 is goated

finally finished the original run of the show. it’s been a long time coming. I’ve started and stopped it a handful of times, and was very put off by the conversation around season 2, but I’m so glad I stuck it through the end. this is a masterpiece of television and was so incredibly ahead of its time. the directing, music, & cinematography are all so unique and gives the show such a distinct vibe to it. there is nothing like this show whatever and you can see where other movies, shows, and video games got their inspiration. Even when it came to the middle season 2 slump, I was having a ball. the plot-lines definitely went off the rails, however, that last stretch of episodes to the finale were insane. the last episode of the original run as well had me in awe the entirety of its runtime. I was witnessing one of the greatest episodes of television of all time and I couldn’t keep my eyes off of it. I have no idea what the FWWM movie and the revival have in store, but I just know it’s going to absolutely make no sense and I’m here for it every step of the way.
