Just finished Fire Walk With Me
i love how the movie really recenters the entire story around laura. i think that deep in the show you're so caught up with the red room and the goofy town people that fwwm hits so hard. you're like oh yeah this is all super tragic

Yeah while watching the show she is remembered as this near perfect kid with hints that there was darker stuff going on. Then to see it through her perspective makes the reality that much more devastating.
As a Sky Ferreira fan I had no idea Night Time, My Time was directly inspired from this film. I was the Leo meme during the Laura and Donna scene with the quotes she uses for that song.

I f***ing adore how underneath all the symbolism and abstraction it’s just a tragic story of sexual abuse.
Lynch gave it all the gravity the topic calls for, that scene of her being scolded for having dirty hands is so upsetting

The ending of FWWM with Laura in the black lodge is probably top 1 emotional Lynch scenes ever
Invokes all kinds of hard hitting primal reactions out of me
Only two episodes left
The delayed feeling of satisfaction I got when Coop said "I am the FBI" was soooo worth it holy s***
rewatching the whole series with my partner right now
we have about 5 episodes left of season 2, i haven’t watched the show in some time (this is prob my third/fourth watch of the series) and i have to say i really don’t mind the James storyline, Nadine being a quack, and all the other extra townspeople side stuf this time around at all. i really enjoy almost all of it actually. James is cool bro wtf
also i’m absolutely loving the more interactions with Coop and Major Briggs in S2, i completely forgot about most of this
Annie just got into town
Just started this finally. S01 was dope. How is S02 and Fire Walk? I got a lotta other s*** I am trying to watch. Trying to figure things out
