"Life sucks ... then you die" How have I never seen this lol
Aight thank you both @deepsleep @XantaClaus
I started S3 but was kinda confused, a lot of it almost feels like a different show. It's not that I didn't like it, but I guess I was expecting something like Twin Peaks-y. Should I stick with it? I only watched like an episode or two tbh. I never finished S2 too, it just got a little too far away from what I enjoyed about S1.

Definitely stick with it, but don’t expect it to be anything like the first two seasons

You need to finish S2 and then watch Fire Walk with Me, or you’ll be completely lost.
Song popped tf off at the end of that ep back in '17, really took me by surprise

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiwsQSXivmIwhole album is so great her new one is also pretty awesome. And her songs are usually even stronger live too
Listening to this song will always bring me back to travelling Tasmania by bike in 2017 listening to all the acts from the Roadhouse and the secret history of twin peaks and secret diary of laura palmer audiobooks

S3 without the first two doesn't make a whole lot of sense... already challenging as is. To be real though the original is still ahead of the times in many ways, and it's historically interesting because it basically single-handedly paved the way for all arthouse television of the last 30 years... I'd give it a shot.
this and shadow were on repeat quite a while for me after seeing those roadhouse performances

Van Etten and NIN were already getting regular spins for me before I'd seen S3 but yeah, all Roadhouse performances were great . Just You is still the musical highlight of the show though.
