I think Iām around s2 15 too and I just canāt get through that lul of season 2. I keep getting like 20 mins into episode and thinking about real life things I should be doing instead
Is it worth skipping those s2 middle eps and skipping to the last episode or are they not that bad/make it all worth it in the end?
100% push through imo. ep like 19 you can feel the show get into a new swing for a second and then the final 2 episodes are a lot better when you tough it out imo
also youre like 1 episode away from all the worst subplots wrapping up

Hang in there, 19 and onwards is great. Lynch is back at the helm. The season finale is one of the greatest and most forward thinking pieces of cinema of all time and ties into the entire concept of āThe Returnā coming back after 25 years.
The only thing ive seen of TP is a few scenes with the character played by Lynch. Is he in the show frequently too?
Going in blind except for knowing that thereās gonna be supernatural events eventually
he only got a few guest-starring type special appearances in S2, but he's basically a main character in S3, and all of it is glorious
Didnāt love the first 2 eps but the 3rd and 4th one really got me hooked
Me and my gf probs gonna finish season 1 before the weekend is over
Also special agent Cooper really radiates the most wholesome energy i have ever seen. His smile is really infectious

I was just about to add btw that Cooper is also based on Lynch mannerisms, him and Gordon Cole mirror each other a lot
And yea he's one of the greatest characters ever, just perfect

Excuse me, but heās a damn good character
Cant wait to see the Gordon character as well, but first things first. Finishing season 1 asap
Also really suprised at how grounded this is btw, 4 episodes in and besides the colorful characters i donāt really get a surrealistic vibe from this that Lynch his other work has, but i assume that will only show more as i continue the series
Also curious to see whatever more references there are to the occult

Starting with S2 it gets way more surreal.
Then FWWM and The Return happen which is on a whole different level.

yeah it's deeply rooted in character and drama/mystery. Because of TV conventions of the time (which it had to infiltrate) it's not as all-out, all the time, but it has a very surrealist/spiritual backbone.
But also starting with the last episode of S2, continuing with FWWM and S3... there's much more all-out s*** in there lol. Lots of serious weirdness still waiting for you. Beware of spoilers
Imagine not thinking dougie was the best part of the show
dougie was out there changing lives
dougie was out there changing lives
Cooper was such a good person that even when he was practically a vegetable he was changing peoples lives for the better lol
my favorite moment of season 1 hands down lmaoooo
this really shows you all you need to know about Cooper in just a few seconds
On to season 2 now
