Itās definitely a good watch but I didnāt like how he talks as if heās speaking definitive, black and white facts.
These two vids from last December are good. Mostly just praising and discussing their fave moments but also breaking down some of the story

I mean, sure
But that doesnāt really explain anything
I can see all the little clues and even dialogue lines or other things that are callbacks to the original TP
Iām just not sure how it ties together yet, and iām under the impression i wonāt even be able to do so in the future. But thatās the beauty of S3 at the same time
Lynch his works has often been called inpenetrable, which i donāt always agree with. Mulholland Drive & Lost Highway are confusing to some but make perfect sense to me. The Return however, actually seems like something that canāt ever be explained
Iām just as clueless as Cooper throughout his own journey. The further i go to give myself some faux sense of closure, the deeper the hole will be that iām digging for myself. There are no answers, there is no escape. This thing is bigger than all of us
That last sentence perfectly sums it up and imo thatās really the only thing you should take away from The Return.

If youāre looking for explanation, no one has anything but theories. Your guess is as good as mine.
Iād like to think that the last scene is Laura Palmer waking up, itās the same voice used by Mrs. Palmer to wake her up in the original pilot.
Carrie realizes sheās dreaming once she hears her motherās voice and (Laura) wakes up.

yeah I sorta hate it, lots of inaccurate/ reaching a***ysis and then using that to make definitive statements. Rly lame imo

Didn't take it too seriously and enjoyed it
Blue Velvet grew a lot on me for sure but The Return goes above and beyond almost everything else ive ever seen
As far as his feature films go id put Mulholland Drive at #1 and Blue Velvet at #2
im gonna have to rewatch s3 because i didnt like it at all initially

Kina crazy since FWWM is top 2 Lynch for you and S3 tonally feels pretty similar to FWWM but the surreal moments are just a lot more frequent and i love it
oh s***!!! what page is ur thoughts on it
Havent really posted something too in depth but just the last few pages
