Audreys dance chune returning!!!!!!
Mannnnn this show makes me so happy
me pre watching a TP episode: :(
me after: :D
I always loved Bobby even though he was the biggest a****** ever. He was so over the top in a charming way and i always felt like his whole cool guy thing was him putting on a mask. A very emotional and troubled teen that turned out in a way his father would have been proud of
Lowkey I fell in love with Bobby's character when he said "because I didn't feel like it", dropped his hands on the table and snapped them lol
that was such a weird musical-esque move but so flamboyant lol. Come to think of it there's definitely a couple scenes where it seems like Bobby is a musical actor stuck in a normal world pre-Return lol
Lynch music taste is incredible
Roy Orbison - In Dreams
Bobby Vinton - Blue Velvet
Jimmy Scott - Sycamore Trees
All his stuff with Angelo Badalamenti (the Pink Room, so flames)
Those became some of my favorite songs thanks to Lynch
Entire TP Return soundtrack goat too, the score + soundtrack are incredible, there's that Johnny Jewel (of Chromatics) album with unreleased cues (he sent Lynch like 50 hours of music for the show) and then there's also like "expanded universe" tracks like Sky Ferreira's latest single produced by Lynch's right hand with sound and music Dean Hurley
I thought it was hilarious how he would never say anything but everyone would be having full blown conversations with him
and then everything would work out
There's a whole film like this called "Being There" with Peter Sellers and it's really brilliant. I'm suspecting that film was the inspiration behind Dougie
Finished last night was way too tired to write down my thoughts
What the f***
I know nothing
I thought i understood most of it until the last part but now going back i realize i still donāt understand a lot. Which is great because it makes me want to rewatch but at the same time a bit frustrating because the more i try to think about it the less it makes sense. Reminds me of Inland Empire a lot in that regard
Any theories are welcome
This was amazing btw, Lynch magnum opus

S3 is not better than blue velvet
S3 is not better than blue velvet
Blue Velvet grew a lot on me for sure but The Return goes above and beyond almost everything else ive ever seen
As far as his feature films go id put Mulholland Drive at #1 and Blue Velvet at #2
Season 3 might be better than any other Show or movie i've ever watched.
Not just Lynch

2 birds 1 one stone - Judy / BOB
Richard & Linda - Cooper / Diane
430 - Amount they had to drive to port into the new realm
All in the opening scene

I mean, sure
But that doesnāt really explain anything
I can see all the little clues and even dialogue lines or other things that are callbacks to the original TP
Iām just not sure how it ties together yet, and iām under the impression i wonāt even be able to do so in the future. But thatās the beauty of S3 at the same time
Lynch his works has often been called inpenetrable, which i donāt always agree with. Mulholland Drive & Lost Highway are confusing to some but make perfect sense to me. The Return however, actually seems like something that canāt ever be explained
Iām just as clueless as Cooper throughout his own journey. The further i go to give myself some faux sense of closure, the deeper the hole will be that iām digging for myself. There are no answers, there is no escape. This thing is bigger than all of us

Just when Cooper (he represents the viewer) thinks he's got it figured out.
BOOM. You don't.
